Training on Risk Management & Internal Control System (ICS)

The training will have a very practical focus, enabling Interaction members and their partners to develop their own organisational and project level risk analysis and management tools, as well as an adapted Internal Control System (ICS). It will be held in three complementary online sessions through Zoom.

Learning objectives

At the end of the course, participants will be able to: 

• Explain the added value of Risk Management and an Internal Control System (ICS).

• Define risk and the associated concepts (probability, impact, etc.).

• Identify risks of their organisation and projects and analyse them.

• Identify risk management measures (prevention, mitigation and contingency planning).

• Explain and define decision-making processes for the implementation of risk mitigation or acceptance measures and their regular monitoring and evaluation. 

• Identify good practices, especially in terms of dialogue between partners on risk mitigation.

• Link the topic with the project cycle and partnership dynamics.

At the end of the course participants will have started to develop: 

• A risk map for your organisation and your projects.

• A risk analysis model.

• Specific risk mitigation measures.

• An Internal Control System (ICS) model.
