This session will explore the topic from both a conceptual and practical perspective.
In recent sessions, the NGO AI Working Group touched on the growing role of Agentic AI and their risks as well as their potential impact on the way we work. This session will explore the topic from both a conceptual and practical perspective.
We will discuss:
  • what Agentic AI is and how it differs from narrow and generative AI
  • how AI Agents may change knowledge work and organizational processes, and
  • opportunities and challenges for NGOs and the broader NPO sector.
In the practical part of the workshop, we will start building a personal LLM Wiki together and experiment with creating a "Second Brain" using Obsidian and AI-supported workflows. The goal is that participants leave the session with a concrete setup they can continue developing after the workshop.
To participate in the hands-on exercises, attendees should have access to at least one AI coding environment, such as: Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, OpenCode or a similar AI-assisted development environment.

We will send more detailed technical requirements and preparation instructions approximately one week before the session.

The session will be facilitated by:

  • Harry WitzthumFounder, Rautaki – AI Strategy for Organisations, with a focus on the NPO, social, and public sectors; Lecturer at IKF (CAS, Chief AI Officer)
  • Till Trojer – AI Officer at HEKS/EPER
